Spiritual Immunity: Holiness

Divine immunity:

Divine immunity is somewhat similar to divine health.

“4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.” Psalm 112:4,6-7 (KJV).

Verse 4 of this scripture shows us that the righteous has access to and lives in light even when everyone else is in darkness. This is immunity. Immunity confers protection. Immunity exempts you from evil. This means that when there is a recession, you are in opulence. When there is a pandemic, you are living in divine health. Glory to God!

Verse 6 and 7 reveal to us that the righteous will not be moved nor afraid of evil tidings because “his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.” This also shows immunity- exemption and protection from “the terror by night, the arrow that flies by day, the pestilence that walks in darkness and the destruction that wastes at noonday” (Psalm 91:5-6). Verse 7 of Psalm 91 is a beautiful picture of immunity. It reads,

“7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.”
